A Note To Our Viewers

Hello kids!

Even if anyone still visits this blog, I'm still making a post on here, a note to all the viewers. 

Yes, Kids Island is still going on... we have not quit.  We won't, for a while!  But, nothing has happened regarding Kids Island in ages!  For half a year, or so -- that's a fairly long time...

So, that's basically it.  We haven't quit KI, but don't plan it to release any time soon. 

Anyone out there who can at least get Kids Island up and running, comment below!

Picked our New Moderator

3 days have passed since the application has been put up on here again, so we could choose one more moderator.  ;-) 3 days...3 people... 1 moderator.

Apply for Moderator - Hiring one more!

Hey kids! ;)

4 of the mods are still active and have informed me that they'd like to be a mod, except Jermaine10.  He hasn't tweeted on his twitter account since May 19, almost 15 days ago.  Early this week, I announced we'd give him 72 hours to tell us he still wants to be a mod.  That 72 hours has passed, without an answer.  We are hiring one more person to be a mod on Kids Island, but the application is only up for 3 days... till Monday.  We are allowing Jermaine to apply again if he wishes, though I doubt he will.

We're a little late on this, but we've finally picked our moderators for Kids Island.  If you weren't picked today, it's possible later on we'll pick more.  9 people signed up, and we have 5 moderators picked.

Also, moderators obviously are automatic beta testers, like the other staff.

Expect the beta tester application sometime this week or the following week.

New VPS (Virtual Private Server)!

Hey guys!

Yesterday, I just downloaded Smart Fox Server, but I didn't know how to use it. I asked iCPblog. He said he would only help us if we had a VPS. Then, Buffy said, "You can use mine until you get your own." So, now we have a VPS!! So now, we will finally be able to kick Kids Island up a notch.

Setting Up

Hey kids!

We're getting closer and closer till we can start making Kids Island go live.  We're starting to double check the programs we need, and even downloading them.  We're finishing up any graphics that still needed to be done, and yeah. :P I'm sure in the next month or so we can pick private beta testers... :o and mods!

Membership

Hey kids!

Twinkle and I have recently found out that we need a VPS in order for KI to be live.  If me and her shared the cost, it would be 10 bucks for each of us/month.  Since we really don't wanna be wasting money, we'd need to have a membership, but obviously low price! xP If a 1 month cost $2, would you buy it? We'd need 10 users to do so if we were to keep KI up for a long time.
